North Florida Animal Hospital is a well-established, AAHA certified, small animal facility specializing in excellent customer service and patient care. We are currently looking for highly motivated, experienced veterinary technicians to join our team. Veterinary technicians must have a broad knowledge of animal science, medicine, and husbandry, including a basic knowledge of pharmacology and sufficient mathematical skills to ensure the administration of accurate drug and fluid doses. They must be able to successfully restrain animals, complete clinical laboratory tests, and use multiple radiology techniques. Technicians must also deliver compassionate nursing care. They must possess the ability to work days, evenings, overnights and weekend shifts. This position requires the employee to possess either a high school diploma or GED.
