TeachBrave has an amazing adventure for teachers interested in teaching and living internationally.
We are currently recruiting English teachers to come live in the exciting cities of Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other cities throughout China.

Who: Teachers with an interest in adding a unique, cultural experience to both your career and life`s resume.
What: This is an opportunity to work with one of the most recognized and secure English institutions worldwide. We are looking for college graduates with a passion for education and adventure. Teachers will be placed into positions working with prekindergarten-aged students up to elementary-aged students.
Where: Various locations throughout China.
When: With a high quota of positions to fill, openings are available immediately. Contract duration consists of a one-year commitment.

Requirements:

  1. Be a native English speaker.
  2. Hold a passport from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
  3. A university undergraduate degree (in any discipline).
  4. A minimum of one consecutive year of teaching experience with the same school after completion of bachelor`s degree. Teachers with at least 24 months of teaching experience will qualify for placement in Beijing. Teachers with 12 months experience will qualify for Shanghai, and other various satellite cities.
  5. A reference letter with verifying dates of employment from your school.

Job Description:

  1. Student level: ages will range between 2 and 12 years old depending on placement.
  2. Monthly salary: 10,000 to 11,000 Chinese Yuan Renminbi DOE (~$1500-1700 USD).
  3. Working hours: 24 teaching hours per week plus 16 hours to prepare and plan your week.
  4. Housing subsidy: $500 to $600 per month depending on location.
  5. Hotel stay: a three week hotel stay when you first arrive to better acclimate you to the country.
  6. Visa: sponsored by the school.
  7. Flight: paid airfare to China and reimbursement of return plane ticket upon completion of your teaching commitment.
  8. Vacation: 11 national holidays plus five vacation days and ten allotted sick days.
  9. Health insurance: medical insurance provided (including dental).
